Search the finished draft for the 25 patterns, then move each person along the Cycle Tracker until the status column reads delivered and signed.

What are the twelve competencies?
Quality of Work; Productivity and Throughput; Reliability and Follow Through; Communication; Teamwork and Collaboration; Customer and Client Focus; Problem Solving and Judgment; Initiative and Ownership; Adaptability and Change; Learning and Development; Leadership and Influence; and Safety, Compliance and Care with Resources. Each one carries a written definition on the Reference tab, and every one of the 720 sentences is indexed to one of them.
What are the rating levels and the tones?
Five levels: Not Yet Meeting, Developing, Meets Expectations, Exceeds Expectations, Outstanding — each written out on the Reference tab so a 3 means the same thing for every person you rate. Three tones: Direct, Supportive and Formal. Twelve competencies by five levels by three tones by four variants is where the 720 comes from.
How many people does it hold?
Fifteen on the Your Team tab. The Evidence Log takes 500 dated rows and the One to One Log takes 200, which is a year of notes for a team that size. If you manage more than fifteen, run a second copy of the file for the second group.
Our company makes us use Workday or something like it. Is this still useful?
Yes, and that is one of the common ways it gets used. Draft in the workbook, run the Bias Check over the text, then paste the finished wording into whatever box your company's system gives you. The system holds the record; this holds the writing.
Can I edit the sentences?
All 720 of them. The Phrase Bank is a plain tab in the workbook and the sentences are ordinary text in cells. Rewrite any of them in your own voice, delete the ones that do not sound like you, or add your own alongside them.
Is this a physical product?
